This is a new (old stock) beauty and a great piece of Solingen history and has a satin finish blade and a European Mountain Chamois handle with a Chamois motif on one side of the blade with the brand DENIFL.
It has a lovely Chamois Horn Handle and an Edelweiss Flower (which is a rare white star shaped flower that grows in the ALPS and other mountainous regions) Metal Emblem in the end of the handle
The writing on the blade reads: DENIFL with a Chamois motif
Made in the mid in the early 1970's
It is in unused but slightly sharpened condition, no dings etc and has not been out of the sheath and it comes in its original condition and has never been used. The cutting edge is sharp and there are a few age marks on the blade and we have left it unmolested and in original condition
The handle is made from a Mountain Chamois Horn with a beautiful ornate Edelweiss Flower cap.
Specifications:
Blade length 4 inch (approx. 10cm).
Total length: 8 inches (approx. 21.5cm)
