The XP line of our overseas agency “PUMA Knife Company USA” also offers some modernly tactical designs, like the PUMA XP Shadowcat, which is a fully black combat/survival knife with an almost 18 cm long blade made of 7Cr17 stainless steel.
The blade tip is kept in a clip-point shape and therefore very sturdy. The cutting edge in the front part is “belly“ shaped and extended by a curved course ("Recurve"). This also shifts the knife's center of gravity to the front and offers the user more impact. The fully continuous “flacherl“ (EN: tang or shank) is covered in bowls made of G10. The element placed between grip and blade is made from blackend brass and protects the hand from slipping onto the knife´s edge.
